


Students create and format reports, learn how to analyze project performance, practice revising projects by rescheduling tasks and leveling resources, and gain experience in customizing Project.

The specific skills learned in this course involve using Microsoft Project to monitor and adjust project progress, examine resource allocation, and set a project baseline. They gain hands-on, practical experience in tracking, analyzing and reporting on projects. In this Microsoft Project – Level 2 course, students learn how to manage projects by building upon the skills learned in the Microsoft Project – Level 1 course. They also learn how to track progress in the project plan and how to evaluate whether the project is on track. Students learn how to create cost and material resources.

In this introductory Project course, students are introduced to the Project interface and learn how to create a project plan, add tasks and resources to the plan, modify tasks, and assign resources to tasks.
